Yen Pin Hu, I have more than 15 years of experience teaching Mandarin at Sacramento Mandarin School and in-home tutoring in surrounding communities. I work with children aged 4 and older as well as adults. I can assist with improving fluency in Mandarin speaking from beginning to more advanced levels. Various methods and strategies are used, such as flashcards, children’s songs, children’s rhymes, games, and PowerPoint presentations. Teaching is appropriately adapted to each individual’s language background.

应轶文，本人毕业于浙大城市学院，担任长城中文学校的K班中文教师，本人将多种教学模式相结合，以教材为基础，适当进行词汇延展，结合亲切的交流方式，来让小朋友爱上学习中文。希望通过自己的不断努力，让孩子们在轻松愉快的氛围中学习中文，掌握更多的中文知识。
Ying Yiwen, I graduated from City College of Zhejiang University and I am the Chinese teacher of K class at CCCS. I combine various teaching modes, based on the teaching materials, appropriate vocabulary extension, and a friendly communication style to make children love learning Chinese. I hope that through my continuous efforts, children can learn Chinese in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and master more Chinese knowledge.
Ms. Suyan Wang 王苏燕 老师 KC 班
王苏燕 学士毕业于北京大学， 在瑞典于默奥大学获硕士学位，2004年赴美工作。在瑞典和美国学习和工作期间， 与志同道合的家长一起开办周末中文学习班， 担任中文教学十多年，教过K-8th 年级， 可以用中英文双语教学。她经常在当地中小学组织的多元文化节上，介绍传播中国文化知识。她希望通过加入长城中文学校， 让更多的学生热爱中文学习，并想了解更多的中国。
Ms. Suyan Wang graduated from Umea University in Sweden with a MS degree and from Beijing University with a BS degree. She has been living in the US since 2004. During the time she was studying and working in Sweden and the US, she and other parents organized and started a weekend Chinese school for local students. As she is bilingual in Chinese and English and has more than 10 years experience being a Chinese teacher in her spare time, Ms. Wang taught students from all grades, K-8th. She often joins the local elementary and middle school’s multi-cultural events, to introduce Chinese culture and knowledge. She wishes that by joining CCCS, she will be able to help students develop a love and passion for both learning Chinese and Chinese culture.

Ying Tan, graduated from Shanxi Medical University. She has over 10 years of Chinese teaching experience-rom both New Star Chinese School and Great Wall Chinese School. In preparation for her classes, she utilizes multimedia teaching -creating an accessible and enthusiastic language learning environment for students. Furthermore, to foster a healthy learning setting, she constantly makes it her priority to treat students with patience and respect. Over her many years of teaching experience, she has won the praise and trust of many parents.
Ms. Yu Du 杜羽 老师 1A 班
杜羽老师, 大学在读。曾经教过K班的拼音, 并在补习班担任助教积累了经验。她教学生动活泼, 喜欢运用教材与孩子互动, 增加他们对课堂的兴趣。有耐心且爱心充足, 更希望创造一种愉快的学习环境, 让学生更加热爱并喜欢中文。
Miss Du is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree. Previously, she taught Pinyin in K grade and worked as a teaching assistant in a cram school to gain experience. She is lively and enjoys using teaching materials to interact with children, thereby enhancing their engagement during lessons. Her focus is on increasing student interactions and engagement. Additionally, she is patient and caring, and aims to create a positive learning environment that fosters students’ love and appreciation

Ms. Qun Chen 諶(shèn)群 老师 1B 班
諶群，毕业于广州医学院。在Cosumnes River College 获得AA 学位。曾经在Isabelle Jackson Elementary 及Cosumnes River College Child Development Center 担任老师助理多年。教学方法灵活多样，以教材为基础，通过跟孩子们玩游戏，提高孩子们对中文的兴趣。让孩子们在快乐的氛围中学习中文，爱上中文。
Qun Chen graduated from Guangzhou Medical College and has an AA degree from Cosumnes River College. She has worked as a teaching assistant at Isabelle Jackson Elementary and Cosumnes River College Child Development Center for many years. Her teaching methods use textbook materials as a foundation and are flexible and diverse. She seeks to increase children’s interest in Chinese through games. Ms. Xiaoqing Shi 史小青老师 1C 班

Xiaoqing Shi received her master degree from Renmin University, China. Also, she received her master degree from University of Guelph, Canada. Xiaoqing used to be a teacher, and awarded as “Outstanding Teacher”. Currently Xiaoqing is indulging in teaching Chinese. She has been a Chinese teacher since 2013 at different Chinese schools and she opened a Chinese afterschool in early 2016. Xiaoqing teaches Chinese with patience, dedication and concentration. She is passionate and dedicated to teaching and building relationships with students, and strives to be a good teacher and friend to students. Xiaoqing has been appreciated and admired by parents and students. Yan Liu graduated from Shenyang Normal University. She has been teaching Chinese in numerous Chinese schools in the Sacramento area. She is familiar with different versions of Chinese textbooks and has taught different grades from K to 7th. She is caring, easy-going, and has extensive teaching experience.
Ms. Hui Chun Hsu 徐慧君老师 2B 班

Ms. Hui Chun Hsu graduated with a Master of Arts in Education from Findlay University in Ohio, USA. She has a substitute teacher license for public elementary schools in the United States, and won the Excellent Teacher Award issued by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission and the California Legislature Assembly in 2021. She has been teaching for 10 years and is currently working in William Elementary School Chinese Immersion program, teaching at Sacramento Chinese School and Great Wall Chinese School. She specializes in using educational games on websites to promote language learning, helping students to enjoy learning Chinese and become lifelong Chinese learners.
Ms. Bin Xia 夏冰老师 3 班

Have a passion for mandarin teaching and introducing Chinese culture. Being a Chinese Teacher for more than 10 years, I instructed students from Kindergarteners to 9th graders. Ms. Huijing Song 宋慧静老师 4A 班

Huijing Song graduated from Shandong University in China. She has been teaching Chinese in the United States for 7 years and has taught Chinese at Wisdom Chinese School, New Star Chinese School and Chang Cheng Chinese School. She taught kindergarten classes, and grades 1-4. In teaching, she is serious, focused and responsible. She always prepares various teaching plans in advance and has accumulated rich teaching experience, which is well received by parents.

Skilled at teaching elementary one through sixth grade Chinese and essay writing. Currently teaching at Chang Cheng Chinese School and Folsom Chinese School in America. 洪颖，毕业于中国四川大学中文系，后从事高校中文教学及跨文化研究。自2019年加入长城中文学校教学团队以来，承担了7～8年级课程以及暑期高年级文化专题讲授任务。她希望通过对青少年中文教学的不断探索和实践，对中国语言文化在海外的传播与推广尽一己之力。
Ying Hong graduated from Sichuan University, China, with a major in Chinese Language & Literature. She used to teach Chinese in college and conduct cross-cultural studies. Ms. Hong joined Chang Cheng Chinese School (CCCS) in 2019, and has taught 7th ~ 8th grade Chinese since then. She is passionate about promoting Chinese language & culture, and also considers teaching at CCCS a great opportunity to meet Chinese culture lovers.
Ms. Lillian Lingenfelter 魏力人老师 6 班
魏力人, 1988年毕业于北京东城师范。曾在北京和香港从事教 学工作约30年, 熟悉简体和繁体版中文教材。自2019年在长城中文 学校任教，希望通过和家长们的共同努力, 提高学生们学习中文的兴 趣，从而使他们能够更加热爱和了解中国文化。
Lillian graduated from Beijing Dong Cheng Normal School for Teachers in 1988. She taught for about 30 years in Beijing and Hong Kong, and is familiar with teaching materials in both simplified and traditional Chinese. Having taught at Chang Cheng Chinese School since 2019, she hopes that through her joint efforts with parents, students will be more interested in learning and speaking Chinese, so that they come to love and understand Chinese culture more.

Jiang Wu graduated from Zhengzhou University. She has been teaching at Chang Cheng Chinese School since 2006. During her 13 years of teaching, she has taught all the grade levels. Because of her rich experience, she uses diverse education methods to cultivate students’ reading, writing, and oral skills. She inspires and encourages her students’ interests in Chinese traditional culture.

王娟老师毕业于南开大学，后在美国威斯康星进修计算机和MBA。从事教育事业二十年有余，边教边学中积累了丰富的教学经验，学生年龄三岁半到五十。在教AP中文的七年里，连续四年学生5分通过率为100%。
Ms. Wang graduated from Nankai University and then continued her computer science and MBA studies in Wisconsin, U.S.A. She has been teaching for more than 20 years and has accumulated a wealth of teaching experiences with students from 3.5 to 50 years old. Seven years of her overall teaching experience has been for AP Chinese. For four consecutive years, all of her AP Chinese students scored a 5 on the exam.
Dr. Jianyuan (Kathy) Zhong
钟建媛老师 奥数班
钟建媛有北大数学系的学士学位和路易斯安那州立大学的数学硕士和博士学位。曾任教3年于路易斯安那理工大学，从2003年到现在是加州州立大学萨克拉门托分校的数学教授。从2019年秋季开始在长城中文学校教奥数。
Jianyuan Zhong has a BS in Mathematics from Beijing University, and MS and PhD in Mathematics from Louisiana State University. She was an assistant professor at Louisiana Tech University for three years. Since 2003, she has been a professor at California State University Sacramento. She has been teaching Math Olympiad classes at Chang Cheng Chinese School since Fall 2019.
Mr. Bin Hee 何滨老师 编程班
何滨是一位具有三十多年教龄的教师，拥有数学与计算机科学双硕士学位。作为兼职教授，他在 Folsom Lake College (2001 – 2006年) 和 Cosumnes River College (2006 – 2021年) 教授过计算机和数学课程。 在长城中文学校，他教过数学奥林匹克班 (2018 -2019年)，Scratch 编程班 (2019 – 2021年) 和 Python 编程班 (2020年至今)。 教学之外，他全职担任加州大学戴维斯分校医学院的高级程序员。
Mr. Bin Hee has over 30 years of teaching experience. He holds double master’s degrees in mathematics and computer science. As an adjunct professor, he taught Computing and Mathematics courses at Folsom Lake College (2001-2006) and Cosumnes River College (2006-2021). At Chang Cheng Chinese School, he taught Math Olympiad classes (2018-2019), Scratch programming classes (2019-2021) and Python programming classes (2020-present). Besides part time teaching, he is a full time senior programmer at UC Davis School of Medicine.
Mr. Lingning Xu 徐令宁老师 成人美声班
徐令宁，前上海专业歌唱演员，有丰富的舞台演唱经验。旅美后师从著名歌剧演唱家，音乐教育家菲利斯 – 科登，毕业于美国波士顿大学歌剧研究院， 并受学校选派在世界歌剧演唱大师，意大利男高音卡洛-贝尔冈奇的大师班深造。他为沙加缅度地区培养了众多歌唱爱好者。他在教学声乐发声技术同时，并注重传授中西音乐文化, 帮助学生提高艺术品味和美学素养。
Mr. Lingning Xu, a former professional singer from Shanghai, with rich experience of stage performance. He studied opera in a post graduate program with renowned opera singer and music academic educator Ms. Phyllis Curtin in the Opera Institute at Boston University. He was also selected by the Institute to study with the world class maestro, Italian tenor Mr. Carlo Bergonzi.
Mr. Xu has many adult singing students in the greater Sacramento area. While teaching singing techniques, he tries his best to popularize music culture and related aesthetic knowledge and improve students’ artistic taste, so as to benefit students physically and mentally.
Mr. Songgao (Robert) Huang

黃松高, 畢業於福建師範大學和加卅大學。自年少時即酷愛書法，研各家之長，習歷代名作。先後蒙國內多位名家指導，涉楷，行，草，篆，隸等各種書體。教學方式另辟溪徑，結合傳統和實踐，多年來，不論大班或個人教學，都取得較好的效果，頗受歡迎。
Huang Songgao Robert graduated from Fujian Normal University and Cal State University. Since I was young, I have loved Chinese Calligraphy and studied the strengths of various masters and the masterpieces from past dynasties. Under the guidance of many famous experts in China, I have been involved in various styles such as standard, semi-cursive, cursive, clerical, and seal script. Over the years, I have taught all manner of classes; group and one-on-one. My teaching style is a new way, combining tradition and practice. The class is a casual and welcoming one, all are welcome to join.
Mr. Richard Yang 杨军老师 绘画班
杨军, 中国广州, 1987年畢業于广州美术学 院。1989年定居加州，继续在城市学院和美术学院学习平面设计。在旧金山和萨克拉⻔托从事摄影工作二十二年，于 2010 年重返绘画领域。多年来，参加了各种艺术组织的展览并成为会员，荣获多項大奖。在大Sacramento县各社区教授绘画十二余年，培養学生无数，任長城中文学校美術老師五年。
Richard Yang, Guangzhou, China, graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1987. Settled in California in 1989 and continued to study graphic design at the City College and the Academy of Fine Arts. He has been engaged in photography for 22 years in San Francisco and Sacramento, and returned to painting in 2010. Over the years, he has participated in exhibitions of various art organizations and became a member, winning many awards. He has taught painting in various communities in Greater Sacramento County for more than 12 years, trained countless students, and served as an art teacher at Great Wall Chinese School for five years.
Ms. Isaura Ortega Spanish Teacher

Ms. Isaura Ortega is our new Spanish Teacher. She was born in Mexico and she has a BA in International Relations. Ms. Ortega started her career working in Diplomatic missions as a Foreign Service National in the US Consulate in Tijuana, Mexico. She worked there from 2004 to 2011. During this time, she was inspired by the opportunities to learn a second language, so she decided to study English and French and began teaching in the CUT University in Tijuana, Mexico. From 2013-2016, she was part of the bilingual high school program and taught classes such as the Socioeconomic Structure of Mexico, and English as a Second language (ESL). As Spanish is her mother tongue, she also worked for companies in Mexico, serving as a Spanish teacher to foreign company directors. She is currently enrolled in TKT class and is also preparing to obtain her Master’s Degree in Modern Languages from the Autonomous University of Baja California. She is currently working for a worldwide company and started teaching Spanish in January 2023 to our students. She is very excited to be part of the Chang Cheng Chinese School team.
Ms. Tina Tai English Teacher

Tina Tai began her career as a teacher with a multisubject credential in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin. With over 20 years of experience, she has been able to teach in both public and private schools across the country, and has designed and taught curriculum for after-school programs in literature, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. She has also been a Senior Instructor at The Art of Problem-Solving Academy (AoPS) in San Diego, and has taught Beast Academy Advanced Math in person and online. She is now teaching exclusively online, and especially enjoys making her classes fun and interactive. Her philosophy is that learning should never be boring! When she’s not teaching, she enjoys walking on the beach with her husband and two dogs, and visiting her three daughters in college.
